In July 2019, the Shungit Presentation Center became an important platform for business negotiations and educational events for business representatives from East Asian countries.

As part of the development of international cooperation between Karelia and the Chinese province of Fujian, Petrozavodsk was visited by representatives of tea companies and journalists from China. A visit to the Shungit Presentation Center was included in the obligatory cultural program of the guests of the Republic.

Visitors noted the useful properties of shungite and the special beauty of the deposit, promising to visit the Zazhoginsky quarry on their next visit.
